Career

01 — Twenty Years

Twenty years building the infrastructure of change.

Christine White, J.D., M.B.A., has spent more than twenty years building the infrastructure of social change — as an attorney, a nonprofit chief executive, a funder, and a founder.

As CEO of Georgia Alliance, she led a multi-entity philanthropic network spanning two 501(c)(3)s, two 501(c)(4)s, and federal and state PACs — growing annual revenue to $29 million, tripling the staff, and moving 92% of grantmaking to organizations led by Black, Latine, Asian American, and LGBTQI+ leaders.

She co-founded Collective Renaissance Guild, a youth civic engagement organization she still chairs, and has served on boards across the democracy and philanthropy ecosystem, often as the only attorney and operator in the room.

Practice

02 — Movement & Repair

Movement lineage, and rest as a discipline.

Christine’s practice is shaped by the movement lineage she was raised in and by her own disciplines of rest and repair: she is a 200-hour certified yoga and meditation instructor, and she believes — from experience — that sustainable movements are built by people who are allowed to be whole. A proud graduate of Spelman College, she holds an M.B.A. from Georgia Tech and a J.D. in corporate law, and co-hosted the Emmy-nominated public television program A Seat at the Table.
