Practice Areas

Four practice areas.

One purpose: organizations strong enough to hold the futures they are building.

01 — Operations & Compliance

Infrastructure as care.

Strong operations are how we care for our people and protect our missions. We audit and rebuild the systems that hold everything else: finance, people operations, grants administration, and internal controls. We turn compliance from a source of fear into a living practice your team owns, with filing calendars, charitable registrations, lobbying disclosures, and documentation protocols built into the rhythm of your work. Whether you steward one 501(c)(3) or a coordinated family of c3, c4, and PAC entities, we bring deep fluency in the regulatory distinctions, the cost allocations, and the entity separation practices that let you do bold work on solid ground.

02 — Philanthropic Advisory & Donor Circles

Giving as relationship.

The most powerful giving flows through relationship, not transaction. We walk with donors and giving circles from formation through their first full grant cycle: clarifying purpose, designing governance, and building grantmaking practice rooted in trust. Because we know the rules that govern charitable dollars, advocacy funding, and everything in between, we help you give boldly and correctly at the same time. We have led grantee organizations and advised major funders, and we bring this knowing into every portfolio we shape.

03 — Program Design & Development

Program that fit in community.

The best programs are built with communities, never just for them. From theory of change through launch, we design programs that are fundable, measurable, and true to the people they serve. We know what funders look for because we have written the proposals and read them from the funder's side of the table. And for organizations with multiple entities, we help you place each program where it legally belongs, so your charitable, advocacy, and civic work each thrive in their proper home.

04 — Governance & Leadership

Leadership that is supple & strong.

Boards are strongest when they can bend without breaking. We assess and guide governance so that oversight is real, roles are clear, and power is intentionally shared and the documents reflect this intention. We ground directors in their fiduciary duties, help officers identify the material information good decisions require, and coach executives through the seasons that test them. We have governed multi-entity structures ourselves, and we know how to keep multiple boards aligned in vision while distinct in their legal obligations.
